Plasma frequency monitor.

The last month or so I was facing an annoying kernel bug (still present). I wanted a quick way to monitor the CPU frequency and the Governor (powersave, perfomance etc). By the same time I came across a new project called Plasmate. An easy to use SDK for plasma addons. Just for fun I decided to play around. After couple of hours I had a plasmoid for monitoring the cpu frequency and the governor. I used Python for the main script.

Plasmate

You can find the plasmoid HERE.

To install the plasmoid run the command plasmapkg -i cpufreqmon.zip in the folder you downloaded the cpufreqmon.zip file. Inside this file you can also find the source code (cpufreqmon.py file).
